Jon J. Bellantoni, MD, FACOG

Dr. Jon Bellantoni attended Yale University before graduating from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Johns Hopkins and is board certified in the specialty.

In 1988, Dr. Bellantoni joined the practice founded by his father, Dr. Leopold Bellantoni, and Dr. John Carriere, and the group grew into what is now Susquehanna OB/GYN under his management. Dr. Bellantoni has a special interest in menopause issues, irregular bleeding, diabetes in pregnancy, as well as healthcare systems and medical quality issues. A three-time recipient of Baltimore Magazine’s Top Doc award, he says of his work, “The practice of medicine is the art of applying scientific principles to one person at a time. It should be both high-tech and personal.”

A resident of Harford County for more than 50 years, Dr. Bellantoni lives with his wife, Dr. Michele Bellantoni in Bel Air, Maryland. He is active in the community and has served on the boards of the Maryland Conservatory of Music, the Maryland Center for the Performing Arts, Birthright, the Society of Italian-American Businessmen and his alma mater, The John Carroll School.
