Erin is a recent transplant from South Florida, where she was born and raised. She has been a Certified Nurse Midwife since 2015 and a nurse since 2005. Her background is in Emergency Room, Intensive Care, and Rural Health. She also spent four years teaching nursing at a University in Florida. That is where Erin developed a love of women’s health and labor and delivery.

Erin attended the University of Cincinnati for her Midwifery degree and practiced in South Florida hospitals and private practice. She then attended Florida Atlantic University for a PhD in Nursing focusing on the family experience of neonatal organ donation with babies who have anencephaly.

Adolescent care, contraception, midwifery care during pregnancy and post-partum, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), menopause care, and trauma-informed care are her areas of expertise and specialty. Erin is LGBTQIA+ welcoming.

Erin is focused on person centered care and believes that everyone deserves quality healthcare, no matter the situation. She believes in patient autonomy and that every relationship is built on equal participation between provider and the one being cared for.

Erin and her family are enjoying the change of pace and scenery that Southern Illinois provides. She enjoys baking for her family and colleagues, reading, and walking outdoors.
