Dr. Sammons has provided exceptional care to women and families in the St. Charles County area since 2010. With a passion for supporting women as they navigate the balance between motherhood and professional life, she finds deep satisfaction in guiding patients through every stage of their reproductive health journey. She cherishes the long-term relationships she builds with patients, knowing that the OBGYN field allows her to be part of their lives through both the joyful and challenging moments.

A proud member of the Lake Saint Louis community, Dr. Sammons lives with her husband, son, and daughter. Outside of her practice, she enjoys hiking in local parks, knitting, playing the piano, and spending time with their family dogs Luna and Nala.

Dr. Covlin has over 25 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology and has been with Heartland Women’s Healthcare since 2009. When working with patients, he is a strong listener and finds joy in his work helping his patients to overcome their medical concerns focusing on preventative care.

Dr. Covlin is a native of North Dakota and enjoys visiting the area to hunt. He loves mountain biking, grilling, and prefers sunsets over sunrises. His hidden talent is ballroom dancing, which he taught while in college. He considers being a dad the most daring thing he’s ever done. When not at work, you can find him with his two kids playing catch or lounging in a hammock.

Dr. Jaeger is thrilled to begin serving our community as an OB/GYN physician, bringing compassionate, patient-centered care to women at every stage of life. Originally from Quincy, Illinois, she moved to the area after residency to be closer to her husband’s family and quickly felt at home in the vibrant local community.

Dr. Jaeger completed her residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, where she gained extensive experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients and received comprehensive training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients, valuing open communication and trust as the foundation for individualized, evidence-based care. She believes in meeting each patient where they are, empowering them with knowledge and support to make informed decisions about their health.

Outside of work, Dr. Jaeger enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new restaurants, and being with her husband, two children, and their two beloved dogs. She is excited to grow her roots in Lake Saint Louis and provide care that extends well beyond the exam room.

Dr. Wikoff has over 26 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Providing personal and compassionate care for women of all ages is a point of professional pride.

Her interests include jigsaw puzzles, yard work and gardening, and helping her grown kids “launch” into the world.

Dr. Bishop is a native of Southern Illinois with over 30 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He is certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bishop lives in Carbondale with his wife and together they’ve raised 6 children.

Dr. Boyd has over 16 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is a Southern Illinois native originally from McLeansboro, Illinois, and a graduate of McLeansboro Township High School.

Dr. Boyd is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), demonstrating her ability to provide optimal menopause-related healthcare in addition to her expertise in other areas of obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Olufeyisayo (Sayo) Taiwo, MD is an obstetrician-gynecologist who joined Heartland Women's Healthcare in 2020 and practices at the Mount Vernon, IL, location. Her services include pregnancy care, high-risk pregnancy care, infertility evaluation, testing, and treatment, genetic testing, gynecology, birth control, long-term birth control such as IUDs, contraception counseling, STD/STI testing and treatment, adolescent gynecology, pediatric gynecology, minimally invasive gynecological surgery (MIGS) and menopause care.

Dr. Sullivan has over 21 years of experience in the field of Gynecology and Obstetrics and Family Medicine. Her areas of expertise include minimally invasive surgery, adolescent health, and birth control management.

Dr. Sullivan is a single mom to two teenage boys and they have two Persian kittens named Mango and Kiwi. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, trivia games, and concerts. She also enjoys traveling (especially Disney World with her family) and entertaining. If she had not become a doctor, Dr. Sullivan says she would have been a travel agent or event planner.

Dr. Rubenacker has over 10 years of experience and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. A Southern Illinois native, Dr. Rubenacker is deeply passionate about serving the community that raised her.

Dr. Skelly has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. Her clinical areas of interest are high-risk obstetrics, menopausal care, and hormone therapy. She has been board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology since 1999.

Dr. Skelly is from New Orleans, LA, and loves Mardi Gras! She lives with her husband and two children. Her family enjoys restoring their historic home which was built in 1904.

Dr. Skelly also enjoys spending time with her pets, 4 cats, and a Newfoundland dog. Her other interests include gardening, cooking, reading, traveling to Europe, and learning about other cultures and history.

What led you to join this profession?
The versatility within the specialty. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a doctor and always thought I would go into pediatrics. However as I progressed during my education, I began to fall in love with surgery. During my OBGYN rotation in medical school, I quickly realized that this specialty not only had a surgical aspect but still allowed me to practice foundational/preventive medicine that I had been drawn to in pediatrics.

What do you enjoy most about your profession?
As an OBGYN I love being able to make life-long relationships with patients and have the ability to support them through multiple stages of their life. We have the privilege to provide care for women for not only their reproductive health but also their general well-being and that is an honor to me.

Tell us a little about yourself.
My husband, Brad, and I just moved here from Kalamazoo, Michigan with our dogs (Louie and Clark). I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago. I completed my undergrad at SLU and am excited to be back in the area. We are outdoor enthusiasts; hiking, biking, camping, and kayaking. I also enjoy reading, photography, running with Clark, and am an avid sports fan.

Blake Ferry, CNM, brings more than 10 years of experience in healthcare to his new role at Heartland Women’s Healthcare. He recently earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and is excited to bring his passion for comprehensive women’s health to Shiloh!

Previously, Blake served as a registered nurse at Sarah Bush Lincoln in the medical/surgical and pediatric/labor and delivery units. While earning his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing, Blake also served as a phlebotomist at Sarah Bush Lincoln.

Blake’s philosophy of care is centered on empowering patient autonomy and well-being through education on disease prevention throughout a patient’s lifespan. He is passionate about promoting activities that lead to improved health and quality of life.

Blake originally hails from Charleston, IL. He is married with three children, and his family loves spending time outdoors. While they’ve never lived in St. Louis, the Ferrys love watching Cardinals and Blues games.

Donna is a native of Southern Illinois and worked as a Labor & Delivery Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital for over 14 years. She obtained her specialty nursing certification in inpatient obstetrical nursing from the National Certification Corporation.

Donna grew up in Washington County and was one of 7 girls in her family. When not at work, Donna loves to run and cycle. If she could eat one food for the rest of her life, it would be eggs. She owns several chickens and has become very creative with egg recipes.

Heather Crawford, CNM, is a dedicated and compassionate certified nurse midwife with a deep commitment to empowering women in all stages of their healthcare journey. With 17 years of experience as a Registered Nurse—10 of which have been focused on women's health—Heather specializes in low-intervention labor and birth, including water immersion.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and her master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. Additionally, she is certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, ensuring the highest level of care for her patients.

Heather’s philosophy centers on providing personalized, respectful, and evidence-based care. She believes in fostering a supportive environment where women feel heard and valued, whether they are seeking routine gynecologic care, pregnancy support, or labor and birth assistance.

Originally from San Diego, Heather now calls O’Fallon home, where she lives with her husband, three teenage children, and two beloved dogs. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors—hiking, kayaking, and discovering new places around St. Louis. She also loves reading, listening to history podcasts and weightlifting, finding balance in both adventure and wellness.

Jane has an extensive amount of healthcare experience with 33 years as a Registered Nurse and 27 years as a Certified Nurse Midwife. She has a passion for caring and educating families and ensuring quality care. Jane loves caring for women of all ages, from the teen looking for birth control to the woman in menopause. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, she provides both obstetrical and gynecological care to patients. Her specialties include water immersion, acupuncture for chronic pain, and yoga for prenatal care.

Jane served 27 years in the US Air Force and retired as a Colonel in 2012. While on active duty, she practiced midwifery and was the top administrator for numerous obstetrical and specialty medical clinics. In addition, Jane served in several executive leadership roles in the military medical system.

Jane is the proud mother of 4 and great-grandmother of 1. Active in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church choir, she also enjoys skiing, fishing, kayaking, camping – anything in the outdoors!

Marion Reyes is a dedicated Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) with a passion for women's urgent care. She was integral to the launch of Advantia’s first dedicated Women’s Urgent Care clinic, located in Shiloh, IL, where she currently spends the majority of her time.

With a focus on providing comprehensive care for women of all ages, Marion specializes in a range of services, including annual well-woman exams, birth control, LGBTQ+ care, prenatal and postpartum care. She is committed to ensuring that every patient receives personalized and compassionate care, while advocating for inclusive and supportive healthcare.

Marion earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Hawaii. She then obtained her master's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix. Following this, she attended Georgetown University, where she received her master's degree in nurse-midwifery.

Susan has over 30 years of experience in the Women’s Healthcare field including direct patient care and the clinical management of OBGYN patients.

Christina received her Master’s Degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She was a labor and delivery nurse for 13 years before becoming a nurse practitioner and loves caring for women during a pivotal time in their lives.

Christina believes in the patient fully being a part of their care team, making sure they are fully informed so they can make choices that are best for them. She is married with 2 children and 2 furbabies. In her free time, Christina is usually at a sporting event for her children or reading a good book. She is always up for book recommendations.
