What led you to become an OBGYN?

I joined the nurse practitioner field because I love helping people. I love seeing people grow and achieve accomplishments that they would not have achieved had they been unhealthy or not prepared in their lives.

What women’s care do you specialize in?

I enjoy teaching patients about preventative healthcare, making sure they understand at what age and times in their life they’re supposed to have screenings done. I feel like this prevents complicated issues in the future for patients rather than becoming unhealthy. It’s better to prevent and stay healthy before that happens.

If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be chicken. Chicken strips, fried chicken, it doesn’t matter as long as it’s chicken!

Where is your favorite place that you have traveled to?

My favorite place that I’ve ever been is the mountains. I love Wyoming and Colorado. Exploring the mountains, there’s always somewhere new to see, and it’s just the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.
