Advantia Health now comprises 98 providers serving more than 150,000 women and their families across Maryland and Virginia
ARLINGTON,Va.
Advantia Health, a fast-growing innovative healthcare company focused on woman’s health and the role women play as ‘chief medical officer’ of their family, announced that it has expanded into Virginia through the acquisition of two leading practices specializing in obstetric and gynecological care in Virginia.
These two practices add six new office locations to Advantia and add 11 physicians and 11 mid-level providers to the Advantia Health provider team. Advantia Health’s initial Virginia locations extend from Stafford, Fredericksburg, Gainesville, Woodbridge, to Dulles. With these expansions, Advantia Health now comprises 98 providers serving more than 150,000 women and their families across Maryland and Virginia.
Advantia plans to expand services at these practices to include mental health and wellness, primary care, and expanded in-office testing and diagnostics. Patients will also have access to easier online booking, telemedicine, and more robust care coordination.
“Our Woman’s Health Hub Model physically and clinically integrates primary care, behavioral health and other commonly utilized services into our OB-GYN practices providing high quality coordinated services to meet women’s needs conveniently and at lower cost. We look forward to bringing this unique model to Virginia in partnership with these new partner practices,” said Sean Glass, CEO and Co-founder of Advantia Health.
“With our unique Woman’s Health Hub approach, we build on the trusted relationship that a woman shares with her OB-GYN. Technology and an innovative care model enable physicians and allied health professionals that join Advantia to thrive in a fast-changing healthcare environment while retaining the culture and benefits of an independent private practice. We are glad this was recognized by our new partners in Virginia and we look forward to expanding through other relationships in the near future.” said Dr. Peter Glass, Chief Medical Officer and Co-founder of Advantia Health.
