Start your day off right with this easy and tasty breakfast treat, the Breakfast Banana Split. Use your choice of delicious and nutritious toppings! 

Slice a ripe banana in half lengthwise and place it in a bowl. Add a dollop of Greek yogurt, sprinkle with granola, drizzle with honey, and top with a handful of mixed berries. Enjoy this nutritious and satisfying morning meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey, maple syrup or agave
  • 1/4 cup chopped strawberries (or other fruit of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup granola (we like Purely Elizabeth)
  • 2 tablespoons raw walnuts (or other nuts of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon cacao nibs (dark chocolate chips work too!)

Instructions

Slice banana down the middle. Mix plain greek yogurt with honey and add on top of banana. Sprinkle with chopped fruit, granola, and nuts (or other toppings of choice!). Garnish with cacao nibs or other crunch topping such as Hu dark chocolate chunks.
