General FAQs

What is Women’s Urgent Care of Advantia?

Women’s Urgent Care of Advantia is an extended-care clinic for women that provides convenient walk-in or same-day care – with no appointment required – for pregnancy-related or gynecological concerns that require urgent attention. For medical emergencies, please call 911 or visit an emergency room immediately.

When is Women’s Urgent Care of Advantia open?

Clinic hours are between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, which means you can visit after your doctor’s office is closed or on days when you cannot get a same-day appointment for your women’s health-focused illness or concern.

When should I visit Women’s Urgent Care of Advantia?

The experienced Women’s Urgent Care of Advantia providers are specifically trained to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of women’s health issues that require immediate attention.

Common visit reasons include: birth control and emergency contraception, testing and treatment; urinary tract infections; birth control counseling or refills; vaginal infections including yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis (BV); menstrual irregularities such as excessive bleeding and/or severe cramping; pelvic pain; unusual vaginal bleeding; early pregnancy symptoms such as nausea and vomiting; miscarriage symptoms such as vaginal bleeding, cramping, or concerns about potential miscarriage; preterm labor symptoms such as contractions, fluid leakage, or bleeding before 37 weeks.

When should I go to the emergency room instead of an urgent-care clinic?

If you believe you are experiencing a severe pregnancy complication or loss, are in labor, or are exhibiting life-threatening symptoms such as shortness of breath, please go directly to your local emergency department or call 911. Women’s urgent care is ideal for conditions that require timely attention but are not life-threatening.

Do I need to be an Advantia patient to visit?

All new and existing patients are welcome at Women’s Urgent Care of Advantia. Simply check in, provide your insurance and identification information, and our providers will see you as soon as possible.
