Lauren Gover is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Board-Certified women’s health nurse practitioner. After graduating from Georgetown University in 2018, Lauren practiced full-scope midwifery in Orlando, Florida. Prior to pursuing her advanced practice role, Lauren worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery for five years. She fell in love with gynecologic and reproductive healthcare during that time, and knew that pursuing the advanced practice role would help her to expand her knowledge and skills to best serve her clients.
Lauren recently moved to the DC area with her husband and their dog. After attending Georgetown, she fell in love with the city and always hoped to one day settle there. They look forward to exploring their new city and meeting new people. She is hopeful that this move will help her to pursue political advocacy, as she felt very drawn to this important work during her graduate studies.
