I will start off by saying that the Doctors are amazing — both Doctors Boddu and Patel were great. I first started seeing Dr. Boddu and she was very helpful (referring and recommending Specialists for concerns outside her purview), knowledgeable and compassionate. While I knew I didn’t need the same kind of checks/probs every appt (especially when they were back to back) I met my deductible so I went along with them.
I started seeing Doctor Patel as Doctor Boddu was transitioning out of the practice and was really happy I decided to go with her. Doctor Boddu had kept her up to date on my diagnostics/testing etc and the transition was seamless. Doctor Patel is amazing and you can tell she truly wants to help her patients. I had to do a biopsy I was really dreading and she was so sweet & kind to me throughout.
Michelle, the sonographer is also fabulous. She’s always so positive and cheerful, which makes the process that much smoother.
I just wish the font desk worked more seamlessly with the Doctors and were more available. This is the only Doctors’ practice I’ve been to where a lot of my calls were unanswered. There are things that only staff can do (like modifying appts, changing appt type etc) and it’s really stressful when you can’t get hold of anyone. There were times were Doctor Patel would schedule a 15 minute check-in only for the front desk to question it later. There were also times where they didn’t notify me that a Doctor was out that day so we had to take time off of work and drive over two hours only to be rescheduled. While I never knew if I could get a hold of anyone at the font desk, I also saw them at the front desk, mostly chatting with one another. I get that no practice is perfect and overall I was satisfied with the care I received. I just hope that there is improvement in terms of the availability and communication with the font desk.
