Laura earned her Associate of Science in nursing from Columbus Technical College, and her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University.

Laura worked as a labor and delivery nurse for over 5 years in Columbus and Fort Benning, GA, and at Tripler in Oahu, Hawaii. Her goals are to provide safe, compassionate, and individualized care to childbearing people and their families.

Laura has 4 sons, a stepdaughter and 3 grandchildren. She lives in Street with her husband and 3 of her sons; her other children and grandchildren live in Alabama. In her spare time she loves to sew bags and enjoys spending time with her goats, mini donkeys, pot belly pig, chickens and turkeys.
