Dr. Brianna Schumaker-Nguyen was raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Maryland and received her medical degree from Campbell University in North Carolina. She then went on to complete her residency training at the Detroit Medical Center in Michigan.
Dr. Schumaker is passionate about all aspects of women’s health but holds a special interest in high risk obstetrics, contraceptive management, infertility and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She values shared decision making with her patients and aims to provide compassionate patient-centered prenatal and gynecologic care.
Dr. Schumaker is excited to return to her home state and serve the women of Montgomery County. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, cozying up with a good book and spending time with her husband and two chocolate labs.
