Dr. Heck grew up in the Northern Virginia area. She graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in Biology and Bioethics and then continued at the University of Virginia for medical school. For her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Heck moved south in search of sunshine and graduated from the University of Florida. But she is thrilled to have returned to the DMV area.
As an OBGYN, Dr. Heck is dedicated to empowering patients in the community through education and personalized care. Her clinical interests include contraception, sexual wellness, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She believes in taking a collaborative approach with her patients, ensuring they are informed and feel supported.
In her free time, Dr. Heck enjoys baking, watching UVA basketball (Go Hoos!), and being the #1 dog aunt. She also enjoys traveling and scuba diving!
