Rochelle V. Johns, MD

Rochelle V. Johns, MD, is a board-eligible OBGYN who cares for patients throughout pregnancy and childbirth, performs routine preventative care and screenings, and treats common gynecologic conditions like endometriosis, fibroids and menstrual disorders.

Dr. Johns earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her OBGYN residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, in New York City. She holds certifications in laparoscopic surgery and basic life support.

Dr. Johns is passionate about women’s health and patient advocacy, with clinical interests that include the management of benign gynecologic conditions and the care of patients with severe preeclampsia. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports women through every stage of life.

Outside of medicine, she values balance and connection. In her free time, Dr. Johns enjoys traveling, fitness, and quality time with loved ones, including her playful toy Goldendoodle. One of her most memorable adventures so far has been attending the Olympic Games in Paris, blending her love of exploration and celebration. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Diaper Bank, supporting families in need across the region.

Dr. Johns joins Simmonds, Martin & Helmbrecht September 15 and looks forward to caring for our patient community.
