Alice Howe is a Certified Nurse Midwife who loves taking care of women and babies. Her experience in nursing spans both maternal and infant care, as she is also a Certified Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. She has taught nursing at the associate-degree level and continues to fulfill her passion for teaching as an instructor in neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and stabilization (The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program).
Alongside her compassionate midwifery services, Alice offers thorough gynecologic care for a wide range of health concerns, including urinary tract infections (UTIs), sexually transmitted infections, and vaginal infections. She also emphasizes preventive care, providing annual well-woman exams and cancer screenings to help her patients stay healthy and informed.
Alice is a military spouse, and she understands the unique needs of our service members and their families. While her family was stationed in Hawaii, she volunteered her midwifery services at Tripler Army Medical Center and is proud to be a Red Cross Volunteer Nurse. When she’s not working, you can find her at CrossFit or enjoying the outdoors with her husband, children, and Aussies.
Alice joins the Physicians & Midwives team August 1.
