Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is integral to all facets of women’s health, and essential to our mission of transforming healthcare for all women. We believe strongly in unbiased care and health equity, and we must create and cultivate safe and inclusive environments for our team members driving this mission.

For our team members, we promote an equitable workplace that strives to be free of bias and allows for professional success and satisfaction. For our communities, we believe people should be able to access healthcare in a safe, welcoming, and culturally competent environment.

The reality is that while all people are created equal, we are not yet all treated equally – and we seek to acknowledge and address that reality within our company, communities, and beyond.

In order to move towards equitable health outcomes and ensure that we make actionable progress aligning our work with these goals, Advantia’s leadership team has committed to the steps below. We will continue to assess our progress against these actions while adding and refining new goals in the short- and long-term….

Building an in-house talent acquisition model with structured interviews and hiring processes that ensure fairness, consistency, and mitigation of unconscious bias

Establishing forums, both anonymous and direct channels, to understand challenges, strengths, and employee perceptions as it relates to diversity, inclusion, and equity across our employee and patient populations

Developing local partnerships and support community engagement with organizations that closely align with Advantia’s goals to transform, innovate, and ensure access for individuals in our communities

Refining our DEI roadmap, to ensure our actions as a company are aligned with our intent to progress our equity initiatives in viable and action-oriented ways that supports our employees and patients
