Dr. Kressel will lead Obstetrics and Gynecological care at Liv by Advantia Health, Advantia’s flagship practice opening in early 2021
WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 1, 2020 – Today, Advantia Health announced that Dr. Sharon Kressel will be the lead Ob-Gyn for Liv by Advantia Health, the company’s upcoming flagship practice that is re-imagining women’s healthcare. Liv will provide convenient, coordinated healthcare in one Washington, DC location, including Ob-Gyn, primary care, mental wellness and more.

Dr. Kressel is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and brings nearly a decade of clinical experience to the Liv team. She received her undergraduate and doctorate degrees at University of Virginia and completed her training at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX as part of the UT Southwestern residency program – the largest obstetrics and gynecology training program in the country. Before joining Liv, she was in private practice in Atlanta, GA. With roots in the DC area, Dr. Kressel is thrilled that this unique opportunity has enabled her family to return to the District.
Liv is a new model of complete care designed for women and powered by women. The practice is changing the way women experience and expect healthcare by offering Ob-Gyn, primary care, mental wellness and more all in an inviting space in the heart of Washington, DC. Liv will offer same-day and next-day appointments and access to virtual care. The practice and care team will be intentionally trained on listening to patients and meeting the specific health needs women have at different stages of their journeys – from wellness and prevention to pregnancy and menopause and beyond.
Liv will begin offering memberships in the fall and will open its doors for patients in early 2021. The practice will be located in a beautiful space on the first floor of 1443 U Street NW, a new residential and retail building one block from the U Street Metro station. It will accept most major insurance plans for health visits.
