Dr. Joseph Vicini is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women at all stages of life. He offers comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services, including preventive care, annual well-woman exams, pregnancy-related care, and the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gynecologic conditions.
Dr. Vicini completed his Ob-Gyn residency at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, which is affiliated with the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He trained in a full spectrum of women's healthcare, caring for both routine and very high-risk pregnancies, while gaining extensive surgical experience in both minimally invasive and traditional gynecologic procedures. His clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive/robotic surgery and urogynecologic surgery.
He believes the best healthcare begins with listening. Dr. Vicini strives to build lasting relationships with his patients by creating a welcoming environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, participating in decisions about their care, and receiving personalized treatment that aligns with their goals and values.
Originally from the St. Louis area, Dr. Vicini is thrilled to have the opportunity to live and serve in the Shiloh region. Outside of medicine, he enjoys music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
