Advantia Health Offers Support to Furloughed Federal Workers During Government Shutdown
Practices will extend payment plans to furloughed federal workers who are able to demonstrate difficulty meeting their co-pay and deductible requirements
Rosslyn, VA, January 17, 2019 – Today, Advantia Health has announced that its practices will extend payment plans to furloughed federal workers with a demonstrated need to meet their copay and deductible requirements. In response to the government shutdown, Advantia Health CEO Sean Glass issued the following statement:

As the government shutdown extends into its fourth week, and with many of our patients living and working in the greater Washington DC metropolitan area, we have grown increasingly concerned that some may be forced to make difficult decisions about their healthcare. We understand that some patients may have recently encountered financial challenges due to the federal furlough. We want all those affected know that we care and we want to help.
