Dear Liv Patients,
I am writing to share an important update about the future of Liv by Advantia Health.
Beginning March 1, 2027, no Liv providers will offer routine obstetric (OB) care. While this decision is bittersweet, it also marks an exciting new chapter for our practice.
Although we will miss supporting our patients through labor and delivery, this transition will allow us to be more available to our patients and me to be more present for my family. We will be able to spend more days in the office, expand appointment availability, and devote greater attention to the growing needs of our patients.
Effective November 1, 2026, we will no longer accept new OB patients. New OB patients already scheduled in November will be contacted with options for their care and transition support.
For patients who are currently pregnant, we will be reaching out separately by letter with additional information and individualized guidance regarding your ongoing prenatal care and delivery plans. If your due date is prior to March 1, 2027, your care plan will likely remain unchanged. Ensuring a smooth and supportive transition for all other patients remains a top priority.
Liv will continue to provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including annual wellness visits, contraception, office-based procedures, preconception counseling, and treatment of gynecologic concerns.
Additionally, we have seen increasing demand for comprehensive perimenopause and menopause care, as well as preventive health and lifestyle medicine counseling. These are areas I am especially passionate about, and I look forward to expanding our services to provide thoughtful, individualized, evidence-based care throughout every stage of a woman’s life.
I know this change may be disappointing to some of you, particularly those who had hoped to return to Liv for future pregnancies. Please know how grateful I am for the trust you have placed in me and our team. It has been an extraordinary privilege to care for so many of you through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.
While one chapter is coming to a close, I am genuinely excited about what lies ahead. My goal is to make Liv an even more accessible and comprehensive home for women’s health, and I look forward to continuing to care for you for many years to come.
