Bo Brabo has a combined 30 years of human resource management experience in the Department of Defense and private industry. Shortly after retiring from the US Army as the Director or HR Operations for the White House Communications Agency, Bo co-founded Brabo West, Inc. The company, situated in the Washington DC metro area, focused on recruiting, HR consulting, finance, and accounting for clients primarily involved in government contracting.
In January 2018, Bo had an opportunity to enter the health care industry and he joined Advantia Health LLC as their head of HR. What intrigued Bo about the company was the leadership vision and opportunity to participate in corporate acquisitions and an organization experiencing rapid growth, requiring the use of Bo’s HR, project management, and people skills to integrate systems, benefit plans, and cultures.
An interesting fact about Bo during his eight years at the White House Communications Agency was that he had an additional responsibility as a Presidential Communications Officer. Bo was trained and certified to lead communication teams to deliver direct support to both Presidents Bush and Obama. Having stood with each President in the Oval Office, Bo uses his experience to encourage and mentor others to dream big and reach for the stars!
Bo holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a current candidate in the Executive MBA program at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
