Dominique Shaw is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner. She graduated from Georgetown University with her Master of Science
in Nursing in 2022. While completing her studies to become an advanced practice provider, Dominique worked as a labor and delivery registered nurse for 7 years at one of the busiest hospitals in the Metropolitan area. She will soon obtain her credentialing as a certified nurse midwife.
Dominique is a native Marylander who was born in Silver Spring and raised in Upper Marlboro. During her middle and high school years, she was a member of the basketball and track teams. She went on to attend North Carolina Central University where she received her BSN and graduated magna cum laude. After graduating, Dominique returned home to Maryland, where she has lived since. In her spare time, Dominique’s interests include online shopping, visiting vineyards, restaurant dining, traveling, and especially spending time with her Yorkie, Coco.
