We are looking for someone who will enjoy a start-up environment requiring a “jack of all trades” and “grab an oar” mentality. We are also looking for someone who wants a breadth of legal experience across the healthcare provider space and who would value learning from one of the best lawyers in his field.

This role will serve as legal officer to the organization and its subsidiaries/affiliates; provide advice and counsel to the organization on all legal matters; provide legal assistance to local and remote offices; provide leadership and strategic advice in areas of the organization’s activities with a legal nexus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • General corporate work; mergers and acquisitions
  • Conduct research regarding healthcare law and other issues relevant to the organization’s needs
  • Counsel management and healthcare providers on broad range of issues
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including employment and vendor contracts
  • Assist in drafting company policies and procedures
  • Work closely with outside counsel on various matters
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum of four to six years of legal experience is preferred
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Legal research databases (Lexis-Nexis, etc.)

Certificates & Licenses

  • License to practice law in any state; member of the Bar in any state
